How Trump’s Peace Plan Exposed Hamas’s Hypocritical “Lovers”

By Endri Tafani

It has been a week since President Trump announced his 20-point peace plan, and the guns in Gaza have now fallen silent.

Throughout this entire week, there has been no support from the West—neither from the media nor from the usual “protesters,” celebrities, actors, artists, and public intellectuals who used to post weekly messages, nor from the Instagram and TikTok influencers.

Absolute silence.

Meanwhile, the entire Arab and Muslim world—led by Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Indonesia, and others—has supported Trump’s peace plan from the very beginning. Yet in the West, there is only silence.

It is now evident that this Western crowd, by remaining silent toward a peace plan, does not actually want peace.

For this Western crowd, the lives and futures of Palestinian children are irrelevant. They want war, not resolution.

Within that crowd, three distinct groups can be identified.

1. The Neo-Marxist Left

For the far left, the Palestinian issue is viewed through a Marxist dialectic—as a struggle between the oppressed and the oppressor, an anti-colonial battle against Western imperialism led by the United States.

The ultimate goal of Europe’s neo-Marxists is the moral and political weakening of Western civilization through constant protest campaigns spanning from LGBTQ+ agendas and mass migration to diversity initiatives and, now, the Palestinian cause.

For these neo-Marxists, the endgame is the destruction of the West as we know it and its transformation into a new, morally deconstructed utopia—a classless, borderless society where class warfare is merged with the war against the white heterosexual man, who, in their worldview, must be erased alongside capitalism itself, since the white man is seen as the origin of all the world’s problems.

This is not hyperbole. One need only read Critical Race Theory, which since the late 1990s has become the foundation of social-science curricula in Western academia under neo-Marxist influence.

For this LGBTQ+ neo-Marxist bloc, any successful Palestinian peace initiative led by Trump represents a preservation of Western stability—the very thing they seek to dismantle.

That is why they want the conflict to persist until Western governments collapse under the weight of continuous, often violent protests.

For them, the lives of Palestinian children are expendable—the more casualties, the better, because it fuels even larger protests.

Palestinian children, to them, are sacrificial offerings on the altar of neo-Marxism.

2. The Trend-Driven Protesters

The second group consists of those who protest because it is fashionable to do so.

They are generally uninformed but have noticed that taking to the streets—or crying on social media about Palestinian children—earns them likes and hearts on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

For these individuals, embracing a trendy cause provides a sense of moral satisfaction: they feel like “good people” for supporting a “good cause.”

But the moment the cause fades from public attention, so does their social-media engagement. Hence, they need the war to continue—it keeps the cause alive, and with it, their dopamine hits of validation.

For them, too, the lives of Palestinian children are expendable—sacrificed on the altar of narcissism.

3. The Antisemites

The third group are the open antisemites.

For them, Israel and Israelis must be annihilated. Hence, the fighting must never end.

They ignore the fact that Israel, as a nuclear power, cannot be destroyed without the entire Middle East being obliterated in the process.

But rationality is irrelevant to them—they simply need the war to persist.

For them, too, the lives of Palestinian children mean nothing. Those children are sacrificial victims on the altar of antisemitism.

When this is understood, it becomes clear why none of these groups supports Trump’s plan or celebrates the achievement of peace.

What pains them even more is that it is Trump—a man they despise—who has managed to bring about peace.

It is a biting irony that Trump’s plan is, in essence, the same peace proposal that Saudi Arabia had introduced several times in 2024—rejected repeatedly by Hamas until the group found itself on the verge of total annihilation by Israel in Gaza’s final remaining enclave.

Through their unwavering support for Hamas, these Western groups have done nothing but prolong the conflict—directly worsening the suffering of the same Palestinian children they claim to mourn.

Those very children they pretended to weep for were, in truth, merely expendable symbols—each sacrificed upon the chosen altar of neo-Marxism, narcissism, or antisemitism.

Hypocrites. Ignorant. Criminals.
