Ekipi k\u00ebrkimor i \u201cTarget Malaria\u201d, me seli n\u00eb Institutin e K\u00ebrkimeve t\u00eb Shkencave Sh\u00ebndet\u00ebsore n\u00eb Burkinabe (IRSS), po punon p\u00ebr t\u00eb ndryshuar gjenet e mushkonjave p\u00ebr t’i b\u00ebr\u00eb insektet t\u00eb paafta p\u00ebr t\u00eb transmetuar s\u00ebmundjen, e cila sipas Organizat\u00ebs Bot\u00ebrore t\u00eb Sh\u00ebndet\u00ebsis\u00eb vrau 569,000 njer\u00ebz n\u00eb Afrik\u00eb n\u00eb vitin 2023. Konsorciumi jofitimprur\u00ebs, i cili gjithashtu merr fonde nga Open Philanthropy, vepron edhe n\u00eb Gan\u00eb dhe Ugand\u00eb.<\/span><\/p>\n

N\u00eb nj\u00eb deklarat\u00eb t\u00eb l\u00ebshuar t\u00eb shtun\u00ebn, Samuel Pare, Sekretari i P\u00ebrgjithsh\u00ebm i Ministris\u00eb s\u00eb Arsimit t\u00eb Burkina Fasos, tha se \u201cTarget Malaria\u201d \u00ebsht\u00eb urdh\u00ebruar t\u00eb ndaloj\u00eb t\u00eb gjitha veprimtarit\u00eb \u00a0n\u00eb vendin e Afrik\u00ebs Per\u00ebndimore, shkruan RT<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cObjektet q\u00eb p\u00ebrmbajn\u00eb mushkonja t\u00eb modifikuara gjenetikisht jan\u00eb mbyllur q\u00eb nga 18 gushti 2025 dhe t\u00eb gjitha mostrat do shkat\u00ebrrohen sipas nj\u00eb protokolli t\u00eb specifikuar\u201d<\/i><\/em>, deklaroi ai.<\/span><\/p>\n

Projekti l\u00ebshoi p\u00ebr her\u00eb t\u00eb par\u00eb nj\u00eb tuf\u00eb mushkonjash OMGJ n\u00eb vitin 2019 n\u00eb fshatin e af\u00ebrt t\u00eb Bana.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTarget Malaria\u201d tha se kishte marr\u00eb miratimin p\u00ebr vperimtarin\u00eb e saj nga Agjencia Komb\u00ebtare e Biosiguris\u00eb (ANB) e Burkina Fasos dhe Agjencia Komb\u00ebtare e Vler\u00ebsimit Mjedisor (ANEVE) dhe \u00ebsht\u00eb pajtuar me ligjet komb\u00ebtare q\u00eb nga fillimi i programit n\u00eb vitin 2012.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNe jemi angazhuar n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb aktive me autoritetet komb\u00ebtare dhe pal\u00ebt e interesuara t\u00eb Burkina Fasos dhe mbetemi t\u00eb gatsh\u00ebm p\u00ebr t\u00eb bashk\u00ebpunuar\u201d<\/i><\/em>, deklaroi organizata jofitimprur\u00ebse.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fondacioni Gates, financuesi m\u00eb i madh i \u201cTarget Malaria\u201d, \u00ebsht\u00eb p\u00ebrfshir\u00eb n\u00eb polemika mbi disa nga nismat e tij, me grupe avokatie q\u00eb e akuzojn\u00eb at\u00eb p\u00ebr promovimin e kulturave t\u00eb modifikuara gjenetikisht dhe modeleve t\u00eb bujq\u00ebsis\u00eb industriale q\u00eb u sjellin dobi korporatave t\u00eb m\u00ebdha, nd\u00ebrsa l\u00ebn\u00eb m\u00ebnjan\u00eb fermer\u00ebt e vegj\u00ebl.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grupi civil i Burkinabe-s, Koalicioni p\u00ebr Sovranitetin Sh\u00ebndet\u00ebsor, ka k\u00ebrkuar m\u00eb par\u00eb nj\u00eb “nd\u00ebrprerje t\u00eb menj\u00ebhershme” t\u00eb projektit t\u00eb mushkonjave t\u00eb modifikuara gjenetikisht, duke e quajtur at\u00eb nj\u00eb eksperiment “t\u00eb rreziksh\u00ebm dhe t\u00eb pap\u00ebrgjegjsh\u00ebm” q\u00eb synon t\u00eb ushtroj\u00eb kontrollin e popullsis\u00eb.<\/span><\/p>\n
