P\u00ebrpara fillimit t\u00eb sesionit t\u00eb OKB-s\u00eb, Misioni i SHBA-s\u00eb n\u00eb OKB tregoi se n\u00ebse rezoluta miratohej dhe aplikimi p\u00ebr an\u00ebtar\u00ebsim d\u00ebrgohej n\u00eb K\u00ebshillin e Sigurimit, SHBA-t\u00eb do t\u00eb vendosnin p\u00ebrs\u00ebri veton ndaj saj, duke th\u00ebn\u00eb:\u00a0\u201cNe presim nj\u00eb rezultat t\u00eb ngjash\u00ebm me at\u00eb q\u00eb ndodhi, n\u00eb prill.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Misioni i SHBA tha se Autoriteti Palestinez nuk i plot\u00ebson kriteret p\u00ebr an\u00ebtar\u00ebsimin n\u00eb OKB dhe se rezoluta nuk zgjidh shqet\u00ebsimet e ngritura m\u00eb par\u00eb n\u00eb lidhje me an\u00ebtar\u00ebsimin palestinez.<\/span><\/p>\n

N\u00eb prill, Autoriteti Palestinez rifilloi k\u00ebrkes\u00ebn e tij p\u00ebr an\u00ebtar\u00ebsim dhe m\u00eb von\u00eb at\u00eb muaj, SHBA vuri veton ndaj p\u00ebrpjekjes palestineze p\u00ebr t\u00eb arritur statusin e an\u00ebtar\u00ebsimit. Votimi n\u00eb K\u00ebshillin e Sigurimit pa 12 an\u00ebtar\u00eb pro dhe nj\u00eb kund\u00ebr, p\u00ebrve\u00e7 vetos s\u00eb SHBA, Izraeli lavd\u00ebroi veton e SHBA-s\u00eb, duke e quajtur ofert\u00ebn palestineze nj\u00eb \u201cpropozim t\u00eb turpsh\u00ebm\u201d nd\u00ebrsa presidenca e Autoritetit Palestinez e quajti veton \u201ct\u00eb padrejt\u00eb, imorale dhe t\u00eb pajustifikuar\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

N\u00eb shtator 2011, Autoriteti Palestinez nuk arriti t\u00eb fitonte njohjen e OKB-s\u00eb si nj\u00eb shtet an\u00ebtar i pavarur.
