Presidenti Komb\u00ebtar i FOP-it, Patrick Yoes, tha n\u00eb nj\u00eb deklarat\u00eb n\u00eb faqen e internetit se institucionet q\u00eb nuk arrijn\u00eb t\u00eb ndjekin penalisht kriminel\u00ebt dhe i lirojn\u00eb shkel\u00ebsit e p\u00ebrs\u00ebritur t\u00eb ligjit jkan\u00eb bashk\u00ebp\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebs p\u00ebr vdekjet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sipas Yoes, vdekjet e oficer\u00ebve jan\u00eb rritur me 23% nga viti 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Viti i kaluar ka qen\u00eb nj\u00eb nga m\u00eb t\u00eb rrezikshmit p\u00ebr policin\u00eb prej koh\u00ebsh.”<\/em> – tha ai, duke shtuar se kriminel\u00ebt jan\u00eb \u2018trim\u00ebruar nga politikat e d\u00ebshtuara ose leh\u00ebtuese t\u00eb prokuror\u00ebve dhe politikan\u00ebve cinik\u00eb\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Sinqerisht, \u00ebsht\u00eb ndryshe nga \u00e7do gj\u00eb q\u00eb kam par\u00eb n\u00eb 36 vitet e mia n\u00eb polici.”<\/em> – tha Yoes. Ai tha se kishte pasur 87 \u2018sulme n\u00eb form\u00ebn e pritave ndaj policis\u00eb n\u00eb vitin 2022, t\u00eb cilat \u00e7uan n\u00eb 31 viktima.<\/span><\/p>\n

Qytetar\u00ebt q\u00eb i binden ligjit pan\u00eb pasojat e v\u00ebrteta t\u00eb asaj q\u00eb ndodh kur zyrtar\u00ebt e zgjedhur p\u00ebrqafojn\u00eb politika prokriminale, leht\u00ebsojn\u00eb shkeljet e tyre dhe marrin vendime q\u00eb v\u00ebn\u00eb interesat e shkel\u00ebsve t\u00eb dhunsh\u00ebm p\u00ebrpara siguris\u00eb publike.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yoes akuzoi \u2018prokuror\u00ebt mashtrues\u2019 dhe zyrtar\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00eb p\u00ebr d\u00ebshtimin \u2018p\u00ebr t\u00eb ndjekur penalisht shkel\u00ebsit e dhunsh\u00ebm p\u00ebr krimet e tyre ose edhe m\u00eb keq, p\u00ebr lirimin e autor\u00ebve t\u00eb p\u00ebrs\u00ebritur\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

E themeluar n\u00eb vitin 1915, FOP ka m\u00eb shum\u00eb se 364,000 an\u00ebtar\u00eb n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb SHBA-n\u00eb, sipas faqes s\u00eb saj t\u00eb internetit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grupi kritikoi demokrat\u00ebt, si guvernatoren e Nju Jorkut, Kathy Hochul dhe t\u00eb tjer\u00eb politikan\u00eb demokrat\u00eb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shtetet e Bashkuara kan\u00eb par\u00eb nj\u00eb rritje t\u00eb ndjenj\u00ebs antipolicore q\u00eb kur protestat dhe trazirat e Black Lives Matter (BLM) godit\u00ebn vendin n\u00eb vitin 2020. Disa demokrat\u00eb kan\u00eb propozuar q\u00eb t\u00eb heqin financat p\u00ebr policin\u00eb, nj\u00eb k\u00ebrkes\u00eb q\u00eb nxiti aktivist\u00ebt e BLM-s\u00eb.<\/span><\/p>\n
