In honor of the 27th anniversary of the liberation of Kosovo, the acting Government and the Presidency have planned a series of commemorative and cultural activities, starting with homages to places symbolic of the war and the country's history.
The activities begin at 09:00 with a tribute at the Adem Jashari Memorial Complex in Prekaz.
Afterwards, in Pristina, state delegations will pay homage at the grave of former President Ibrahim Rugova at 10:30, while at 10:40 they will place wreaths at the grave of activist Adem Demaçi.
Next, at 10:50, homages will be held at the martyrs' cemetery in Pristina, while at 11:00, the figure of Hero Zahir Pajaziti will be honored near his monument in the capital, reports RTK.
In the context of marking this date, at 16:00 PM, the photographic exhibition "KFOR and Kosovo 25+" will open at the Pjetër Bogdani National Library, which brings together images and moments from the engagement of the international mission in Kosovo over the years.
The activities conclude at 19:00 PM with the festive concert "Freedom unites us", which will be held at the Asim Vokshi House of Culture, bringing together citizens and artists in marking the anniversary of the liberation.
