US and Iran face a night of tension, new military strikes warned

The United States and Iran are bracing for a new escalation of military tensions, with both sides issuing strong warnings of action in the coming hours.

According to Iranian media, Iran's armed forces have been placed on full alert and have warned that they will strike new American targets if Washington launches further military attacks.

The Iranian Tasnim news agency, citing a military source, reported that any aggressive action by the US would be met with a harsh response. According to reports, the Iranian military has prepared for possible developments overnight.

Meanwhile, the Mehr news agency reported that air defense systems have been activated in Fars province. Iranian media also reported distant noises on the island of Kish in the Persian Gulf, although their source was not disclosed.

On the other hand, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that US Central Command will have a busy night, hinting that there may be other military operations against Iran.

He warned that the United States would strike Iran with force, targeting facilities considered strategic. According to him, the attacks would be clear and powerful, with the aim of protecting American interests and strengthening Washington's diplomatic position.

Hegseth also claimed that most Iranian missiles do not reach their intended targets.

The situation remains extremely tense, while international attention is focused on the developments of the coming hours, which could determine the further direction of the clash between Washington and Tehran.
