
Individuals who have signed an exchange contract for real estate are obliged to register it in the cadastre. The State Cadastre Agency has clarified the procedure that must be followed after signing the exchange contract for real estate.
This process is carried out through the e-Albania portal and must be completed within a period of 30 days. The application is accompanied by the upload of the relevant documentation in electronic format and the selection of cadastral services. According to the agency, this procedure ensures the updating of property data and avoids possible penalties.
"After concluding the exchange contract, you must register it in the cadastral register through the e-Albania application. To avoid late fees and to be provided with updated property documentation, the application must be completed within 30 days from the date of signing the contract," emphasizes ASHK.
How to apply:
1. Log in to the e-Albania portal
2. In the "Real Estate and Property" section, "Contract Registrations" category, select the service:
“Application for registration of exchange contract” and click “Use”.
During the application, the system automatically selects the following services:
* Certificate of ownership
* Copy of card
* Fragment of cadastral map
3. Fill out the electronic form with the required data and upload the documentation in PDF format.
4. Make the payment:
* Online
* In second-tier banks
* Or at the Albanian Post Office
The original documentation is uploaded to the application in PDF format (no more than 10 MB), and then must be sent by mail to the relevant local ASHK directorate.
-Exchange contract, together with relevant accompanying documentation
-Mandate-payment for tax/transfer tax (when applicable)
-10-year insurance contract, when required by applicable legislation.
