CEC spokesperson, Valmir Elezi, announced that the results platform has begun transmitting data for candidates for MPs, from the counting process that is taking place in Municipal Counting Centers across the country.
He emphasized that the first published data comes from the NCCs of 15 municipalities: Leposavic, Novo Brdo, Obiliq, Shtime, Shtërpcë, Zubin Potok, Zvecan, Junik, Mamushë, Hani i Elezit, Gracanica, Ranillug, Partesh, Kllokot and North Mitrovica, in which the counting and verification process began on Monday morning.
Meanwhile, on Monday afternoon, activities have also begun in the NCCs of 23 municipalities: Deçan, Gjakova, Gllogoc, Gjilan, Dragash, Istog, Kaçanik, Klina, Fushë Kosovë, Kamenica, South Mitrovica, Lipjan, Rahovec, Peja, Podujevo, Prishtina, Prizren, Skenderaj, Suhareka, Ferizaj, Viti, Vushtrri and Malisheva.
Elezi announced that the process of counting the votes of candidates for deputies and verifying the results of political entities from the forms filled out at polling stations after the ballots were counted has begun at the Municipal Counting Centers, writes RTK.
According to him, after the counting of each polling station is completed, the data is transmitted to the results platform.
He added that according to the Law on General Elections, the counting of ballots of political entities takes place at the polling station after the end of the voting process, while the counting of votes of candidates for deputies takes place at the Municipal Counting Centers, where the verification of the results of political entities from the forms completed at the polling stations is also carried out.
