Prime Minister Rama said from Elbasan that the call of citizens protesting on the boulevard "Albania of Albanians" is racist and similar to the call of Nazi Germany.
During the meeting with socialists on the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Elbasan Socialist Party, he said that the home of the Albanian is God's and the friend's and that the expression "Albania of Albanians" is a stab in the back against those who saved thousands of Jews during World War II, precisely from Nazi Germany.

It is racist, it is blindness, a stab in the back for all those who gave Albania the gold medal after World War II. Whoever speaks about this today spits on their grave. The home of the Albanian belongs to God and to friends. The home is open to all. "Albania belongs to Albanians" reminds you of that slogan of Nazi Germany. With that slogan they made Germany the black sheep of the world. It is racism, blindness and a stab in the back for all those who gave Albania the gold medal in World War II. First of all, the Muslims, then the Christians, who became the saviors of the Jews and made Albania the only country where not a single Jew surrendered. While in all of Europe they took the Jews and sold them out of fear, while in Albania they put themselves in danger, for "to protect the Jews.
