
The European Union Summit for the Western Balkans begins today in Tivat, Montenegro, where leaders of the countries of the region and EU representatives will participate.
The Republic of Kosovo will be represented by the acting President, Albulena Haxhiu, writes RTK.
According to the Presidency, the summit will focus on the European perspective of the Western Balkans, the EU Growth Plan, as well as issues related to security and stability in the region.
During her participation, Haxhiu is expected to reaffirm Kosovo's commitment to European integration, fair and equal treatment in the EU enlargement process, as well as strengthening regional cooperation in the service of peace and stability.
