A road accident occurred on Sunday, May 17, in Afantou, Rhodes, causing the death of two women.
Two cars collided under still unclear circumstances near a supermarket, causing one of the vehicles to overturn.
The Fire Department removed two unconscious women from the vehicles, who were pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Meanwhile, the ambulance transported three other people to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Traffic Police are investigating to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
According to more detailed information, the road accident occurred on Sunday afternoon (17/5) in the Afantou area of Rhodes. The strong collision near a supermarket caused one of the cars to overturn, as reported by dimokratiki.gr.
Firefighters immediately rushed to the scene to free the two women who had lost consciousness inside the car. At the same time, the EKAB (Greek Emergency Service) ambulance transported the other three injured to the hospital.
