Trump dismisses Iran's response: "Totally unacceptable"

US President Donald Trump has strongly rejected Iran's response to the US proposal to end the war, describing it as "totally unacceptable".

The details of the Iranian response have not been made public, while it was conveyed through Pakistan, which has served as a mediator in this diplomatic process, according to BBC.

Although a ceasefire established to facilitate negotiations has been largely respected, the situation remains tense with sporadic exchanges of fire and constant pressure from both sides.

The American proposal, according to reports, includes a 14-point package, where among the main conditions are a ban on uranium enrichment by Iran, the lifting of sanctions, and the restoration of free movement in the Strait of Hormuz.

On the other hand, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that his country will not surrender to pressure, emphasizing that negotiations do not mean capitulation.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has insisted that Iran's enriched uranium stockpiles must be completely eliminated before the conflict can be considered over.

Against the backdrop of these developments, Iran continues to restrict passage through the Strait of Hormuz, affecting global energy markets, while the US has intensified its blockade of Iranian ports to increase pressure on Tehran.

Trump's refusal to respond shows that peace negotiations remain at a critical point, while a final agreement still seems distant.
