Haxhiu: Kosovo has a clear Euro-Atlantic destination

In marking Europe Day, the acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, has reiterated Kosovo's unwavering European orientation, declaring that the country is "European in history, in culture and in its political orientation."

Haxhiu assessed that the path towards the European Union is being demonstrated through the strengthening of institutions, the increase in social welfare and the extension of order and sovereignty throughout the country's territory, he writes. RTK.

"Today, this is measured by an increased minimum wage, more support for families, opportunities for young people, and a state that exercises sovereignty and order in every corner of its territory," she emphasized.

According to her, Kosovo has already met the criteria for membership in the Council of Europe and remains committed to its Euro-Atlantic path.

Haxhiu has warned that any delay towards Kosovo in the integration processes directly harms citizens and at the same time undermines the credibility of the European vision itself in the Western Balkans.
