Sylvinho's future in doubt, Corinthians interested in Albania coach

After three years at the helm of Albania National Team, the future of the coach Sylvinho remains unclear, while his contract expires in July and the parties seem far from a new agreement.

The Brazilian coach achieved historic results with the Rossoneri, qualifying them for the Euro 2024 and taking them to the play-off stage of a World Cup for the first time. Confrontations with teams like Italy, Croatia and Spain significantly raised their international profile.

However, according to Brazilian media reports, the club Corinthians has shown interest in bringing Sylvinho back to the bench. He previously managed this team from May 2021 to February 2022, recording 17 wins, 14 draws and 13 losses in 44 matches.

After the last coach's departure Dorival Junior, Sylvinho's name has been included in the list of candidates to replace him, and is even considered one of the favorites.

Interest from Brazil and the lack of an agreement with the Albanian Football Federation increase rumors of his possible departure from the Albania bench.
