A surprise special forces operation was carried out in the Uji i Ftohtë area in Vlora. The operation was carried out by RENEA officers, who intervened in the field as part of a wide security check.
RENEA has blocked the Vlora Ring Road, the road parallel to the promenade.
According to preliminary information, about 40 special forces personnel and about 10 vehicles, including armored vehicles, were engaged in the operation. The operation was also monitored from the air through the use of a drone, which controlled the area to help coordinate operations on the ground.
