Prime Minister Rama promotes his new book "At the Moon's Table": Summary of speeches during iftars

Prime Minister Edi Rama promoted his new book "At the Moon's Table" at an iftar evening with intellectuals, artists and well-known figures.

The book contains speeches by the Prime Minister delivered during various iftar evenings organized by him over the years.

In his speech during the promotion, Rama also focused on the unprejudiced perception of the Islamic religion, as prejudices, according to him, create problems.

"The book is a compilation of iftar evenings, which I had the pleasure and privilege of organizing, in the function I have, opening a tradition, as far as my function is concerned, that goes beyond those who fast. The Iftar meal is beyond those who fast. It was the impetus of some Muslim friends who annihilate, that I summarized these words in this book. I wanted to make the presentation modestly. The Iftar meal brings us together beyond the lines that separate us on the boulevard. It was the impetus of Muslim friends, that encouraged me to enter deeper into the culture of Islam. There is a treasure trove of cultures that come to us from religion, that should have our worship. Through my duty, I have met honorable professors of the Islamic religion. The foreword was written by the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates", said Rama.

Meanwhile, next to him was the professor of the University of Tübingen, Besnik Sinani, with whom he is collaborating on the museum of Islam, in the "Sarajet" of Toptan near the center of Tirana.
