NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said he stands by his message of congratulations to US President Donald Trump for his "decisive action in Iran."
Rutte congratulated Trump and called the US attack on Iran "truly extraordinary" in messages posted by the president on social media on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters at the NATO summit in the Netherlands on Wednesday morning, Rutte said he was not reconsidering his assessment of the US strikes, after media reports questioned their effectiveness./CNN
