A 40-year-old man wanted by Germany for fraud and theft is arrested in Dibër


The Border Police at the Bllata Border Crossing Point have arrested a 40-year-old man, resident of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is internationally wanted by German authorities.

The 40-year-old was convicted by the Heilbronn Court in Germany, which issued him with the security measure "prison arrest" for several criminal offenses, including "theft by deception", "fraud" and "repeated fraud for financial gain".

The 40-year-old is expected to be extradited to Germany.

Police notification:

The Border Police Services at Bllate BCP, as a result of increased measures and the exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, have apprehended at the entrance and arrested for extradition purposes the citizen:   

BS, 40 years old, resident of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the Heilbronn Court / Germany, assigned him the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment", for the criminal offenses "Theft by fraud", "Fraud" and "Repeated, profitable fraud", provided for by the German Criminal Code.  

Interpol Tirana is cooperating with Interpol Wiesbaden for the extradition of the 40-year-old to Germany.
