Invited to the show "This Week" on News24 with journalist Nisida Tufa, he said that the agreement with the majority was all focused on the normalization of life in the Assembly.
Bardhi said that every process of dialogue was done not "in the coffee shop" but in the institutions of the Parliament, while he said that from the beginning he was ready for negotiations, even more so because the internationals were continuously calling for such a process of dialogue.
Excerpts from the studio conversation:
Gazment Bardhi: We have gone through difficult moments not only these 5 months. We have more than 2 years in difficult moments. I am satisfied that after the merger of the group, we managed to unite most of the PD and made it functional, thus making the opposition functional. We fought a 5-month battle in the assembly for our constitutional rights.
The return to normality is good news for the Albanians as the opposition returned its rights and now our duty is to do what the Albanians have elected us for.
I have no problem with my democratic colleagues, who think differently.
Nida Tufa: Agreement with the majority, someone has called the old Pazar. What can you say about this?
Gazment Bardhi: The entire dialogue focused on the normalization of parliamentary life. Therefore, the dialogue has been conducted in the institutions of the Parliament. International partners have encouraged the parties to engage in political dialogue. I have expressed my readiness for dialogue since the first day.
