"I have no other place but the DP." This is what Jorida Tabaku declared from outside the Assembly when she was asked about the latest developments and the merger of the Berisha-Bardhi group.
"I don't believe that I had a different opposition stance. I was also in protest in July 2023 when no one went. I have been in the DP since I was 16 years old and I have no other place but in the DP." Tabaku said.
In the meantime, Tabaku also spoke about voting on changes to the law on protected areas.
She said that the government, by approving these changes, shows that it knows no limits, and that according to her, the way was opened for 14 strategic investments within the protected areas.
"If we talk about the captured parliament and violation of procedure, this is the best example. I have been trying to do the battle in the institutions for a long time, but in conditions where they are SP deputies, their vote has no value.... with this law, the government showed that it does not recognize any limits and voted a law that is 14 decisions for strategic investments within protected areas", she said.
