The Special Court has left in prison the former mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici, who was imprisoned after the video scandal, where he was filmed having sex in the office of the Municipality.
Also, GJKKO has confirmed the 'house arrest' measure for 40-year-old Alma K., who had intercourse with Gjici and was the one who filmed the act.
The former mayor declared in the session that he did not violate the law, because he did not see the project.
"I was punished for the action I did, I received the punishment for the mistake I made. There is no project, we have not seen a project, I have not broken the law.
I fell into the trap of those who do not love me, I have not committed any legal violation. I agree with the lawyer's position", Gjici declared.
Meanwhile, the 40-year-old's lawyer told the media that there should be no security measure for Alma, as she has a 12-year-old minor child and her sick mother, and is the only one who brings income to the family.
"Finally, I asked the court that my client be without restraint or, in contrast to house arrest, with an obligation to appear. Because he has a small child of 12 years old and his mother is sick. She is the only income earner in the family."- said Alma K.'s lawyer,
