Berisha: The accusation against the Mujahideen was written in Tehran, Chuçi should leave

The leader of the Democratic Party of Reestablishment, Sali Berisha, from the Parliament's rostrum described the accusations against MEK members as created by the Iranian regime.

According to him, taking Tehran's accusations as a basis makes Albania appear to be a vassal country of Iran.

Berisha demanded the dismissal of Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi.

I am here to declare today that at this moment I feel more than ever one of them, I feel a mujahideen, a freedom fighter. I express to them my most sincere feelings of support and sympathy. I feel a mujahideen today because the immoral government of this country killed a freedom fighter in its own bread, in its own shelter. I feel a mujahideen today more than ever, because the indictment that you read yesterday is the most shameful story for a country. It was written in Tehran. The indictment was based entirely on slander, fabrications of the services of the ayatollahs to the freedom fighters. The indictment contained elements of extreme humiliation of Albania and the Albanians, as if it were not a NATO member country, but as if it were a vassal of Iran. To take them as a basis, to exercise the most shameful retaliation in the history of this country. Therefore, I demand the immediate dismissal of the Minister of the Interior. I ask that we observe a minute of silence for the martyr of freedom who fell to become immortal. I invite you to observe a minute of silence!”-Berisha declared
