In the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Minister of Agriculture, another product of the Digital Revolution was presented, that of the Farmer's Portal.
The Farmer's Portal provides real-time information on markets, prices, food analyses, active support schemes and financing instruments, veterinary care, agricultural pharmacy offerings, typology of collectors, land rental opportunities, legislation in force and much more information, supporting the farmer in his daily life.
Prime Minister Edi Rama said that with this application, farmers will gain independence by receiving data in real time. According to Prime Minister Edi Rama, this portal also provides full transparency of prices and the farmer can open and see at any time what the prices are, adding that none of the collectors can hide from reality by committing injustice.
'They will gain independence from all the obstacles, obstacles, impossibilities, or even from misinformation, distortion of facts. They will gain independence to have a real-time database, to learn from that database. They said that farmers do not know how to use computers and will be left without applying. The result was that we had more applications than ever before. The most dedicated applicants are those who are furthest from urban centers, since for them it is the only way to have access to an office system. AZHBR funds have gone to the top of the mountain thanks to the opportunity to apply. We have seen difficult situations for farmers and abuse for some collectors and this portal makes prices completely transparent. The farmer can open and see what the prices are. None of the collectors can hide from reality by committing injustice. Subsidies, projects, supports, this portal gives you the opportunity to see what are the ways to get financing. There will always be more and more funding depending on what he does.- said Rama.
Minister of Agriculture Frida Krifca, in her speech, stated that this portal is a long-standing need of the sector, to have information on agriculture, its political making, and to be accessible to all citizens and those who want to deal with agriculture.
