DP leader Berisha said that Prime Minister Rama is under deep investigation in the US for the 'McGonigal' dossier for criminal activity against the main NATO country and Albania's main ally.
During a conversation with journalists at the blue headquarters regarding tomorrow's protest, he said that Rama has committed a criminal offense by hiding the crime in Albania.
According to Berisha, Rama has violated not only the national security of Albania but also of the United States, while with his actions he has attempted to stifle pluralism in the country.
In the end, Berisha called on the head of government to resign immediately and irrevocably.
"He is under deep investigation in the US and that investigation is exhaustive for all his criminal activity against the partner country, against the allied country, the main leader of NATO, of peace and security in the world. But Edi Rama has consumed the criminal offense by hiding the crime in Albania. He has sent witnesses to New York to investigate and manipulate the conspiracy against the opposition, while he has not presented a single witness before the Albanian justice. Hiding the crime constitutes a serious criminal offense. We are dealing with a man who is burdened with serious criminal offenses. With a man who, with his actions, has seriously threatened the security of the US. With a man who, with his actions, has tried to overthrow political pluralism in Albania. A monstrous crime, a constitutional crime, but also a series of serious crimes in this affair. Edi Rama has an alternative, to resign immediately and irrevocably." - said Berisha.
