A 32-year-old man has been arrested in Durrës after a Court in Milan ordered him to be remanded in custody for drug trafficking.
Albanian citizen AL residing in Durrës will be extradited to Italy.

The 32-year-old man, wanted internationally as a member of a criminal organization for drug trafficking, is located, captured in Durrës and provisionally arrested, to be extradited to Italy.
The Specialists for the Investigation of Illegal Trafficking and Narcotics of the Durrës Police Department, in cooperation with the services of the Interpol Tirana OCC, in continuation of the work to locate and arrest wanted citizens, captured and temporarily arrested, with the aim of extradition to Italy, the citizen:
-AL, 32 years old, resident of Durrës.
The 32-year-old has been assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" by the Court of Milan for the criminal offense of "Drug trafficking", committed in the form of a criminal organization, as provided for by the Italian Criminal Code.
In cooperation with the Interpol Tirana OQK, work continues on the extradition of citizen AL. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Durrës Judicial District Court, for further action."- police announcement.
