Kurti talks about the meeting with Rama: We discussed three topics, Albania should return the energy we gave to the summer in the winter

A day after the informal meeting with Edi Rama, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti spoke about the three topics he discussed with his counterpart.

Kurti said that he and Rama discussed cyberattacks, the energy crisis, and the Berlin meeting. He explained that he had asked Rama to return to Kosovo during the winter the energy it provided to Albania during the summer.

"Yesterday's meeting was a working lunch with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, and it was a very good, constructive, positive and necessary meeting because of the topics we discussed, the first of which is cybersecurity.

This was the topic of our discussion and I was very interested in learning as much as possible about their experience with the recent attacks, which have been truly very harmful and criminal.

The second topic was the energy challenges in the coming weeks and months in terms of sustainable supply and affordable prices, where you know that KEK and KESH cooperate closely, we have now given them a lot of electricity in Albania during the summer so that they can help us then during the winter and we discussed the energy situation in general...

The third topic was preparations in light of the resumption of the Berlin Process, this time with the new German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, because you know that previous meetings within the framework of the Berlin Process were held with Mrs. Merkel and now for the first time it is being held by Chancellor Scholz, and there is a lot of work by our teams and a lot of preliminary cooperation towards the next meeting of the Berlin Process.” stated Kurti.
