Ora News reveals the location of the arrest of the assistant specialist in the Operational Team Lami lives, who was arrested on the evening of August 23, 2022 in Tirana.
Lam's arrest was carried out in the office of the Director of Operations, where Lam was summoned privately, who, according to his bosses, needed to clarify a work matter.
Lami went to the office of the General Directorate of the State Police, where as he confronted the bosses, they asked him when he had started working in the Operational Force.
Lami said that he started working 3 years ago, after being selected to be part of this structure by the director at the time, Bujar Ahmeti.
On the other hand, the bosses asked him if he had ever been to Durres in the first days of August, and Lami is reported to have responded that he had visited the city of Durres, accompanied by people close to him.
After this, the bosses again asked him if he had ever accompanied people wanted by the police and prosecution, but Lami indicated that he had not done so.
Even when asked if he had been with Ervis Martinaj, Lami again indicated that he had never done such a thing.

But at these moments, Lam was asked to watch a video, in which he saw himself in a hotel in Durrës, where he was accompanied by the businessman wanted by SPAK, Ervis Martinaj.
Ora News learns that after staying together for a few minutes, Lami was left alone in the hotel premises, while according to the police, Martinaj left by car in the company of several other people.
This was the last moment when Ervis Martinaj's silhouette was captured. And since this moment on the evening of August 7, 2022, no trace of Martinaj has been found in Albania.
The businessman's family members have also lost contact with him, and on the morning of August 9, 2022, they went to the Kurbin police station, filing a report of his disappearance and loss of contact with Vis Martinaj.

As he was introduced to the content of the video, Police Officer Lami tried to defend himself, saying that he was in these premises by chance and did not know who the other person shown on camera was.
His Chiefs of the Operational Directorate have communicated to Lam the decision of the Laçi court, which had set the security measure of "prison arrest" for the police officer who is now accused of the criminal offense of "Abuse of office".
The operative was arrested in the office premises and after this moment, he did not provide any additional evidence about the situation in question. He is expected to appear before the Kurbin court tomorrow at 11:00, where he will be familiarized with the security measure "arrest in prison".
Meanwhile, the police have not yet issued a statement that could shed light on the mystery of whether Ervis Martinaj was taken hostage and killed or is still on the run.
