An unlicensed pistol, four magazines and 173 cartridges were found in the apartment of the 52-year-old with the initials NB, whose son was arrested during Operation 'Road Guard 3' in Gjirokastra.
After searching his apartment in Kamza, the police found the aforementioned weapon.
The 52-year-old was arrested in flagrante delicto by Tirana police.

"Following the work to prevent, identify and crack down on criminal activity in the field of illegal possession of weapons, based on information received from the Gjirokastra Police Department, following the police operation codenamed "Road Guard 3", that the father of one of those arrested in the operation may have had firearms in his apartment, the services of Police Commissariat No. 5 organized the work and carried out a search in the apartment of citizen NB, 52 years old, resident of Kamzë. During the search of this citizen's apartment, the Police services found and seized as material evidence, a grease-coated pistol firearm inserted into a leather holster, four combs and 173 live ammunition. Following the actions, the arrest in flagrante delicto of citizen NB, 52 years old, was carried out for the criminal offense of "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition". The materials were passed to the Tirana Judicial District Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions."
