She is only 25 years old, but she managed to secure the gold medal for Kosovo and pave a safe path for herself.
In her youth, the models that inspired her were Majlinda Kelmendi and Nora Gjakova, while both of them helped her to achieve the success she achieved.

Albanian Krasniqi first went to the final of the Olympic Games "Tokyo 2020". Kosovo has thus achieved several victories in a row thanks to the talent and work of judoka Distria Krasniqi and her staff.
"With the securing of the Olympic medal, Distria breathes more freely. But the goal now is ARTA. The grand final awaits, the career fight with the Japanese, Funa Tonaki. We wish our Olympic medalist the best of luck. The final will take place in about 30 minutes," announced the Kosovo Olympic Committee.
Krasniqi defeated Urantsetseg Munkhat of Mongolia to advance to the grand final. She previously faced Brazilian Gabriela Chibana and Chen Hao Lin.
Krasniqi competed in the category for weights up to 48 kilograms.
