The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has a response to the opposition's accusations that the government is funneling money to oligarchs.
Balla writes that in the 5 years of the SP government, large businesses have paid 3 times more taxes than in all the years of the DP government.
"The 'oligarchs' have paid 3 times more taxes during the 5 years of our government than in all the years of Saliu and Luli's government. In fact, the 'oligarchs' instead of public taxes, paid the personal bribe of the government. Who can forget the grotesque balls of Saliu, Meta and Luli with the 'oligarchs' forced to buy paintings at auction, with the money that supposedly went to charity. That is why Lulzim Basha continues Saliu's style: point the finger at the 'oligarchs', put pressure and take the villa or the money under your hand. The figures are stubborn and speak for themselves", says Balla, who has released a table showing the figures on how much tax big businesses have paid during the SP government.
Prime Minister Rama had previously published the same figures in a Facebook post.
