An unusual video has emerged from a nursing home in Melbourne, Australia, where the elderly and their nurses dance to Bollywood songs, are without masks and do not maintain any distance from each other.
A Melbourne aged care facility has come under fire after a video surfaced of it violating Covid-19 restrictions.
The video shows women dressed in long, colorful skirts dancing as elderly patients watch.
Dancers are seen mingling with them, holding hands and approaching them without face masks, gloves or protective equipment.
The video was posted on TikTok with the caption: “It would be nice if we weren't in Phase Four lockdown. There was no social distancing at all and hardly anyone was wearing face masks.”
The party was held for a staff member's birthday and workers were allegedly told not to post anything on social media. The senior care center's director, David Reese, said all of the people in the video were staff members.
