Arsenal is not finding the rhythm, they are looking to Wenger for salvation

Arsenal have reportedly contacted former legendary manager Arsene Wenger to discuss the possibility of him returning to the Emirates, which he left in 2018 after a 22-year spell there.

Despite three Premier League titles that made him the most successful manager in Arsenal's history, 70-year-old Arsene Wenger had faced harsh criticism from many fans during his final seasons at the Emirates.

Wenger is reportedly still hurt by his departure, as he believes the fans did not treat him as he deserved at the end of his career there.

However, the Daily Mirror claims that Arsenal bosses have made it clear to the Frenchman how welcome he would be if he returned to the London club.

After his departure from Arsenal, Wenger had said that he would remain an Arsenal fan forever, however he has also spoken of his hesitation if he were offered a return there.

Another obstacle to Arsenal's aim to bring Wenger back is the fact that the Frenchman is employed by world football's governing body, FIFA.
