Today, police announced the arrest of a 64-year-old woman who, according to them, was deceiving businessmen in Tirana, promising them large construction projects financed by an organization.
The police have only given her initials, VP, while "Report TV" has learned that her name is Violeta Stavri Petro.
But this is not the most important news.
According to "Report", the brother of Rebani Jaupi, the director of the Tirana Police, has also fallen into the trap of fraud.

"She deceived businessmen, promising them large construction projects financed by a foreign organization, the citizen was arrested. The Economic and Financial Crime Section, after receiving a report from the owners of several businesses that a citizen, through fraud, had appropriated their funds for personal gain by presenting herself as a representative of a foreign organization, arrested and detained VP, 64 years old, resident of Tirana," the police provided details.
According to the officers, this citizen presented herself as a representative of a foreign organization and, using the name of the organization, deceived by embezzling significant sums of money from various businessmen, to whom she promised financing in large construction projects.
"The procedural materials in charge of this citizen will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance in Tirana, for the criminal offenses of "Fraud", "Concealment of income" and "Non-payment of taxes and duties", concludes the announcement.
