The leader of the united opposition, Basha, held a meeting with citizens and DP supporters in Kurbin.
In his speech, the leading democrat emphasized that poverty and unemployment have come about as a result of the plundering of the country by Prime Minister Rama and a handful of thieves close to him.
'The non-participation in the June 30th elections was an indication that people have become aware that June 30th was not for them, but for Edi Rama and a handful of bandits and oligarchs with whom the government rules.' - said Basha.
Basha emphasized that the country is going through a deep crisis and is being robbed and plundered, which has led to a serious economic situation.
''1 in 3 families cannot make ends meet with basic food expenses. Unemployment has reached record levels and the cost of living has become unaffordable for the vast majority of Albanians. Albanians are becoming poorer because they are being robbed. Albania is being plundered and destroyed by Edi Rama with a handful of predatory businessmen who share money and wealth with each other. The entire economy and wealth of the country are in the hands of these few people around Edi Rama.' - added Basha.
He emphasized that the Democratic Party has the responsibility to change the situation in the country and put an end to criminal governance, robbery and expulsion of Albanians.
