A 45-year-old woman was arrested in Kakavija for possession of weapons without a permit.
The 45-year-old resident of Fier with the initials LS was arrested after a firearm was found in her car during the search.
As evidence, a Glock type pistol was seized as well as 9 cartridges.

Border Police Services in implementation of measures to prevent, detect and attack illegality, as well as on the basis of risk analysis, at the exit of the Republic of Albania, have selected for detailed control in the second line the vehicle owned by the citizen LS, 45 years old , resident in Fier.
After the checks and control carried out in the vehicle, by the employees of the Border Police in cooperation with the customs services, in the luggage of this vehicle, a firearm of the Glock type, caliber 9 mm, with a total of 9 cartridges was found hidden.
Further investigative and procedural actions were carried out by the specialists of the Dropull Police Station, who made the arrest in flagrante delicto of the citizen LS, for the criminal offense of "Producing and keeping weapons and ammunition without permission".
