Three political parties in the Netherlands are demanding the reinstatement of visas for Albanians. Although yesterday the Dutch Minister of Justice and Security, Ferdinad Grapperhaus, praised some of the government's reforms, the newspaper "De Telegraf" writes that the Socialist Party, the Party for Freedom and the Christian Democratic Party in the Netherlands are demanding the return of visas for Albanians, as they see this as the only opportunity to curb the phenomenon of Albanian organized crime in the Netherlands.
According to MP Fritsma, the problems started when visas were liberalized."You would expect this, criminals benefit when there are no controls."
Another MP, Van Toorenburg, who is part of the same political force as Minister Grapperhaus, has directly requested the return of visas for Albanians.
"I want to know who we let into the house, there will be a debate with the minister very soon." The Socialist Party member in the Dutch Parliament supports this measure: "An emergency procedure must be initiated to restore visas."
In the next scheduled session with the theme "Albanian organized crime in the Netherlands", we will see whether the majority of Dutch MPs will support this proposal or not.
With this discussion taking place in the Netherlands, the promise of opening negotiations in June seems to be just a dream.
