After two serious accidents that caused over 340 victims, the "Boeing" company has made changes to the MAX 8 aircraft software.
"We will do everything we can to make sure accidents like these never happen again.", said Mike Sinnett, the company's vice president of Future Aircraft Development.

Less than five months later, on March 10, 2019, another Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 Max 8 crashed into the ground at 700 kilometers per hour (435 mph) six minutes after takeoff from Addis Ababa airport. hours). This crash killed 157 people.
Both incidents have similarities, with an investigation into the first incident revealing that a system problem forced the plane to pitch down more than 20 times before crashing into the sea, killing 189 passengers and crew.
Following these incidents, more than 300 Boeing 737 MAX 8 and MAX 9 aircraft have been taken out of service worldwide.
