Millions of users around the world encountered numerous technical problems yesterday on both Facebook and Instagram.
For several hours in a row, it was almost impossible to access these two platforms, but even when a user was able to log into their account, they encountered various problems, such as the inability to post.
Facebook announced on Twitter that it suspected the problems were caused by a DDoS attack, that is, an external attack by hackers on the company's servers.
But it seems that the problem was caused internally. This was announced by the social network in a post a few minutes ago on Twitter, reports newsbomb.al.
"Yesterday, as a result of a server configuration change, many people encountered difficulties accessing our applications and services. We have now resolved the issues and our systems are recovering. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience," Facebook wrote on Twitter.
