The police intervene in Filologigu, Mark Marku: We will take them to court! (VIDEO)

Police entered the premises of the Faculty of History and Philology today, threatening students to stop their protest.

Head of the Journalism Department Mark Marku stood by the students, while also filming the police officers.

In a live connection with "FaxNews", Marku said that the police were reluctant to enter, despite him warning them that this is illegal.

"They said they were here to maintain peace and order, and I told them it was very clear that police are prohibited from entering university premises. The situation was very calm, they are doing it to divert attention from the protest. There was no reason for them to be here."

The assembly met yesterday and decided that this week will be a week of protests, and in case of no reaction from the government, next week and the following, we will have a specific day to protest. We do not put pressure on the students, and they can continue with their protest,” said Marku.

Further, the head of the Journalism Department said that they will take legal action against the police today.

"The situation is getting worse and worse, the problem is being solved and nothing has been solved, starting today we will take legal action against the police officers who entered the Faculty premises. It is absurd, children can be scared of the police, it is completely ridiculous. They are becoming dangerous the moment they break the law", said the lecturer.

"We filmed everything. We will take the case to court and the Ombudsman. They hid behind walls so that their faces wouldn't be seen, is this the image of Sandër Lleshaj's police?", are the words of Mark.

The police entered the Faculty to inspect and reported to their superiors that classes were being held, when in fact no classes were being held. /Hashtag.al
