A young woman was born without the help of doctors, as she was trapped by the snow and could not go to the hospital. Luljeta Cora from the village of Labinot Katund, was born with the help of nurse Nazmie Demiri from the Health Center of this village in Elbasan.
Nurse Nazmie Labinot-Katund in Elbasan managed to save in time, a young mother trapped by the snow, and help her give birth to her second child at home.
Initially, the mother was in pain and although she realized that the time had come to give birth, she could not go to the hospital because of the bad weather.Her family members tried to move by vehicle, but it was impossible due to frost and snow on the road. The area's infirmary went to help and within an hour the child came to life, also helped by the retired nurse Ismete Allushi.
It is learned that thanks to their timely intervention, it became possible to avoid complications during the birth of the 25-year-old mother. As soon as the young woman managed to give birth to her second child, an ambulance with chains was sent to her apartment, which managed to penetrate the village blocked by snow.
The ambulance sent Luljeta Coran to the Elbasan maternity hospital, where she is currently receiving the necessary treatment together with the child. Both the 25-year-old mother and the baby are in good health and are under the care of the maternity staff.
