"They took my son's bride so he could give birth in prison", this is what one of the residents of Astir said, in today's protest in front of the Municipality.
According to the citizen, police officers sent the boy's daughter-in-law to prison, even though she was pregnant, but warned that the "men of the house" would not allow this.
"They took away the daughter-in-law of the son who was born in prison, there are men in that house, not just women. They can't trample on all these people. Shame, shame, shame," said the citizen.
This is the 10th day that the residents of Astir have been protesting against the demolition of their homes, until they receive compensation.
The residents of Astir are asking Prime Minister Rama and Mayor Veliaj to provide them with a solution because otherwise they will seek political asylum and go to the American embassy.
